What are MOO NoteCards?
NoteCards are square prints made from your own photos or designs.

They have a magic flap on the side, to make them stand up proudly on your mantel, bookshelf or window sill, and are perfect for mailing to friends. See a picture of them on the NoteCards page.

So, are NoteCards double sided?
Yes, they are. Your picture or design is on one side, and you can personalise the back with your own messages.

There's the option of up to 6 lines of larger text, for your main message or greeting, which is centered on the card.

There is also room for a smaller message at the bottom, and an icon. You can use this for all kinds of things, for example, a photographer or designer credit, a special date, or url to see the photo online.

How big are they?
The photo area of each card is 100x100mm - and with the magic flap they are 142x100mm.
What are NoteCards made from?
They are printed on similar paper to MiniCards, sourced from sustainable forests. The front has a matt laminate and the reverse is uncoated for you to sign or write a message.
Is this paper ok for scrapbooking? Is it acid and lignin-free?
Yes, were pleased to be able to tell you, the paper NoteCards are printed on is both acid and lignin-free.
How are they printed?
NoteCards are printed on digital printing presses which use a 4 color ink process. All Moo products have a protective coating or laminate which should stop the colours fading for a long time.
How are they packed?
They come flat packed, wrapped in special MOO paper, complete with 16 NoteCard-sized envelopes.
How do they work?
The cards are flat packed, ready for you to send in the post. To make them stand up, you simply fold the flap - which has been specially designed to fold smoothly - and away you go.
How do I order them?
There are three ways you can order MOO NoteCards, but dont worry, all of them are really simple:

What are NoteCards for?
You can use them for anything you like special occasions like birthdays, or Christmas, invitations, or to tell people you're moving house or your baby has just been born.

Better still, don't wait for an occasion why not send one just to say 'hello', or 'I miss you!' or 'thanks for the cake'. Make someone feel special.

Can I get my cards printed in other languages and character sets?
Yes, you can. Moo supports all the given character sets in the Unicode Specifications. That means everything from the full European set, to African, Indic and Asian scripts. Have a look here for a full list.
Can I rotate my images on the notecards?
No, as the images are square, the process doesn't allow for rotation. You need to make sure you're images are the right way up from the start.
How do I pre-crop my images, and get the sizing right?
If you'd like to custom design your cards, or crop images specially for your NoteCards, read our format guidelines. We also have templates you can download to help get you started.
Does Moo retain any rights to the photos I uploaded for printing?
Absolutely not. Your images remain your copyright, they belong to you, not MOO.

We may store them for a period of time, to facilitate re-ordering, but only you will be able to re-order the images you upload.
